award nearly twice the national amount for spinal nerve injuries

in Kansas is 3 percent greater than the national An analysis
of personal injury cases for Colorado finds that plaintiffs
receive a median award of $68,227 for spinal nerve injuries,
which is almost double that of the national median award
for spinal nerve injuries, at $35,000. The median award
for the state overall is $65,227, while the overall plaintiff
recovery probability - the number of plaintiff verdicts
to total verdicts - for Colorado is 44 percent compared
to a 55 percent national recovery probability, according
to Jury Verdict Research®'s 2005 Colorado Verdict Survey.
The statistics are based on verdicts rendered in Colorado
from 1998 through 2004. The study also includes a breakdown
of specific liability categories in the state of Colorado
and a settlement analysis.
