L. Gibson v. B. & S. Patterson
A 39-year old female (L.Gibson) suffered chondromalacia when the eastbound motorcycle on which she was a passenger was struck broadside by the male codefendant’s (B. Patterson) northbound vehicle, operated by the female defendant (S. Patterson), at a controlled intersection. The plaintiff contended that the defendant operated her vehicle in a negligent manner, failed to keep a proper lookout, and drove at an excessive rate of speed. The defendants denied liability and contended that the plaintiff’s host driver was comparatively negligent.
